I Am

I am not a woman,
not a little girl.
I am not a hipster,
and not mainstream enough to know what that means.
I am not a pirate,
though constantly marooned in ocean dreams
and waving goodbye.
I am not a Bible thumper,
just ask me about the King and you'll find out how unobsessed I am.
Were I a nerd, which I am not, I would most definitely be a writer,
which I am most certainly not.
I am not messy,
though if I were, I wouldn't care.
I am not prideful, and I know it.
I am not addicted. I could stop any time I wanted,
but I'd have to cough up a fee for that.
